About Isle of Palms
& Sullivan's Island
You come to a literal fork in the road at the end of the Arthur Ravenel bridge and must decide, left to Isle of Palms or right to Sullivan's Island. After a quick trip through beautiful Mt. Pleasant in either direction, you will arrive at your chosen shore for some R and R. Sullivan's Island is just over a drawbridge and is occupied heavily by primary residents and complimented by an almost equal population of second home owners visiting frequently. You won't find many vacation rentals here, but you can head over for a day of eating and drinking your way down Middle Street from neighboring Isle of Palms, a resort style beach community next door with plenty of options for your family vacation, second home or investment property. Wild Dunes, a gated resort community on the Isle of Palms, has long been a destination for vacationers looking for an upscale resort style beach getaway with access to two Tom Fazio designed golf courses, a beautiful oceanfront pavilion and plenty of pools, restaurants and walking and biking trails. While still being very much a residential community, Isle of Palms comes alive during the summer with lots of activities showcasing it's premium stretch of beach and vibrant front beach entertainment scene!
