About Summerville
Just a few miles up interstate 26 is the bustling community of Summerville. Known as the Flowertown in the Pines, Summerville has retained the charm of a small southern town with a historic district and an old fashioned town square in the center of town anchored by a community theater and drug store with a fully functioning 1920's style soda fountain offering malts, floats, milkshakes, fountain sodas and the best candy counter in town. Recently, Summerville has become home to several of Charleston's favorite restaurants second locations and thrives as a quaint small town just outside of a quaint small city.
