Just on the other side of the Ravenel Bridge that spans the Cooper River in such spectacular fashion is the
community of Mt. Pleasant. Formerly a weekend destination for the wealthy residents of Charleston, the Old Village
still stands as the communities highly coveted historic district. With two waterfront parks, a plethora of waterfront dining
and nightlife at Shem Creek and golf courses dotted throughout the community from Patriots Point to Bulls Bay, Mt. Pleasant is a very popular community for families and fun, laid back people of all ages.
